Our Love Story

I love the holidays, and it's fun to update blogging with each months new holiday. This month, because of Valentines I chose to focus on our love story. I love this song because it brings back so many memories for me. We were both so young, and the older I get the more I fatham just how frightening that really was. But I was blessed with a responsible, hardworking, great father and husband and honorable man in one package. I have been able to stay at home with my children our entire marriage and be the mother of my dreams, not because I am perfect but because I am simply here with them every day. And while he is in a transitional period, career wise, working 18 hours a day and we only see him on Sunday and sometimes Saturday, I am grateful for the commited man he is to me and his family. I know it is a means to an end and we are so excited to be entering the helicopter industry. I am also beginning to understand that the longer you are married, if your marriage is based on the principles of the gospel you become one. How neat is it to know I am sealed for eternity to my other half. We started out as just two kids, really, then before you know it, with a lot of work and years of bonding we are still together. With the high divorce rate it really is a wonder. Some people have asked me what made the difference with us and I don't really know how we beat the odds so young, other than two factors: Work and gospel principles. We applied both. I also am grasping onto just how fast life goes, and while most of our pictures are of our children there are a few of us that I compiled into this little slide show. I am excited to report that we are privleged and spoiled to have the opportunity to go on a meditteranian cruise in June. Of which I hope to add to our little portfolio of us.

I'm so glad to have reconnected with you...to know how happy things turned out for you. Rather then just always wondering about the unknown...
What a blessing to have a houseful of kids (to stay home with) and a dedicated husband (who isn't home because he's out working so hard).

oh, and, I LOVE that song!
